Comedian John Mulaney and actor Olivia Munn are overjoyed to announce the arrival of their second child, a daughter named Méi June Mulaney.
Munn shared the exciting news on Instagram on Sunday, revealing that their baby girl was born via a surrogate on Thursday.
In her heartfelt post, Munn expressed her profound emotions about not being able to carry her daughter, thanking their gestational surrogate for her grace and understanding. She described the surrogate as a real-life angel who kept their baby safe for 9 months, making their dreams of expanding their family come true.
Explaining the significance of their daughter’s name, Munn added that “Méi” is pronounced as “may” and means plum in Chinese.
Mulaney, 42, and Munn, 44, who tied the knot in July, are also proud parents to a two-year-old son.
Earlier this year, Munn bravely shared her battle with breast cancer and her journey through a double mastectomy. In an interview, she expressed gratitude for Mulaney’s unwavering support during the difficult time, likening his presence to climbing an iceberg with him by her side.
The couple, who began dating in 2021, welcomed their son, Malcolm, in November of the same year.
