Uncover the latest news in Houston as HPD seeks assistance in locating two suspects involved in a fatal shooting on Tuesday night. The incident occurred on Overbrook Lane near Westheimer Drive, where the body of a 46-year-old man was found on the sidewalk.
According to homicide detectives, the victim confronted the suspects, who were engaged in a shoplifting incident. An altercation ensued, leading the suspects to flee on foot. The victim pursued them and even attempted to pepper-spray them before being fatally shot. The suspects then fled into a nearby apartment complex.
The two suspects are described as males between 18 to 25 years of age. One suspect had brown and black hair, wearing a gray hoodie, blue shorts, and white slides. The other suspect had black hair and was dressed in a black shirt, black pants, and blue shoes.
