Mail Thieves Strike Again: Help Needed to Catch Suspects
HOUSTON — Postal inspectors are seeking assistance in identifying two suspected mail thieves who have been targeting a southwest Houston condo complex.
The company that owns the property where the theft occurred stated that this is not the first time they have been targeted by mail thieves. Surveillance footage from a recent incident on Sept. 9 shows two individuals using a master key to access the mailboxes in the complex.
The extent of the theft is not yet known, but the complex representative mentioned that a similar incident in the past involved the use of tools to gain entry, with a license plate being captured on camera. In this latest occurrence, it remains unclear how the suspects entered the gated community.
The U.S. Postal Service inspector has announced a reward of up to $100,000 for any information that could lead to the arrest of the suspects.
