Well-known Houstonian and beloved furniture store owner, Jim “Mattress Mack” McIngvale, is currently hospitalized. Despite his health concerns, he took to social media on Monday to update his followers.

In a video posted from St. Luke’s Hospital, Mattress Mack shared, “Day three here at St. Luke’s Hospital. They’re taking great care of me, trying to figure out why I have this massive swelling in my leg with all this red rash all over it. And, why I had … memory loss the other day and first time ever, I drove past the store.”

Fortunately, he mentioned feeling better and expressed hope to be released soon. The health concerns began last Friday when Mattress Mack felt nauseous and had trouble sleeping. On Saturday, he experienced memory loss and missed his exit to work.
