Man in Custody After Shooting at Family Dollar Store in Houston

A shocking incident unfolded at a Family Dollar store in southwest Houston on Friday night as a man walked in and began shooting indiscriminately.

Fortunately, no one was injured in the frightening ordeal.

Reports indicate that the suspect seemed to be under the influence of drugs at the time of the shooting, leading to his irrational behavior. HPD Lt. Larry Crowson mentioned that the man may have been targeting imaginary individuals during the attack.

Immediately following the incident, law enforcement authorities swiftly apprehended the suspect at the scene, ensuring that he could no longer pose a danger to the public.
