Early Saturday morning, a violent incident unfolded at a home north of downtown Houston, leaving three men injured from gunshot wounds, according to the Houston Police Department.

The shooting took place around 1 a.m. on Fulton Street, a neighborhood located off North Main Street north of I-10.

Police reports suggest that an argument between a man and his girlfriend’s family escalated into a physical altercation before the man and his girlfriend left the scene. However, the man returned later with his brother and opened fire when the three victims tried to intervene and asked them to leave. It remains unclear if both brothers discharged the firearms.

Interestingly, the three men who sustained gunshot wounds were not directly involved in the initial altercation, as confirmed by Lt. R. Willkens. The man embroiled in the fight had already sought shelter inside the house.

The injured men, aged 39, 29, and 24, were promptly transported to nearby hospitals for medical treatment. While two of them are expected to recover, the condition of the third victim remains uncertain, as per HPD.

Although the suspects fled the crime scene, law enforcement authorities have identified them and initiated a search operation to apprehend them.
