Tragedy struck early Sunday morning when the Harris County Sheriff’s Office discovered a man lying face down on Greenranch Road, showing signs of trauma. Despite efforts to save him, the man was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.
This unsettling incident occurred near the crossroads of Aldine Westfield Road and Lauder Road, prompting deputies to respond to a distress call after midnight. Upon arrival, law enforcement found the man at a dead end on the street, his injuries indicating blunt force trauma. Emergency Medical Services rushed him to the hospital, but unfortunately, it was too late.
According to HCSO, the circumstances remain shrouded in mystery as there are no established leads. Witnesses reported that the man had been in the company of others at the dead end when a skirmish erupted, leading to this tragic outcome.
