Introducing Kamala Harris: A $90 Million Ad Campaign

Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign is making a bold statement with a $90 million advertising effort over the next three weeks to connect with voters and highlight the differences between her and Republican Donald Trump.

This massive media buy is the largest investment the campaign has made in messaging to voters, coming just in time for the final stretch leading up to Election Day in November. Following a $50 million wave of ads last month, Harris’ campaign shows no signs of slowing down in their pursuit of the presidency.

Buoyed by a surge in fundraising since joining the ticket, Harris’ team is determined to counter the overwhelming spending by Trump and his supporters. The ad campaign will highlight Harris’ personal story, her background as a prosecutor, and her commitment to challenging powerful interests, all while drawing a sharp contrast with what they call Trump’s “dangerous, extreme agenda.”

The campaign will target seven battleground states and reach previously untapped markets like Marquette, Wisconsin and Erie, Pennsylvania. By strategically placing ads during popular TV programs, Harris aims to engage and motivate voters, with a focus on reaching a diverse audience.

With a strong financial backing of $310 million raised in July and $377 million on hand, Harris’ campaign is poised to make a lasting impact as Election Day approaches. Quentin Fulks, the campaign’s principal deputy manager, believes that as voters get to know Harris better, they will see her as the best candidate to lead the country in the next four years.
