The rapper was in Paris for the Olympics as the official hype man for USA Water Polo and sympathized with the financial struggles of Olympians like Chiles.
Chiles had initially been elevated to third place in the floor exercise after a successful appeal, but the Court of Arbitration for Sport ultimately voided the appeal due to a timing technicality, stripping her of the medal. In response, Flavor Flav reached out to Chiles on social media offering to create a custom bronze clock necklace just for her.
