Firefighters Battle Large Fire at San Antonio Storage Facility

A massive fire broke out at a north side storage facility in San Antonio, sending thick, dark clouds of smoke high into the city skyline on a Sunday afternoon. San Antonio Fire Department (SAFD) crews swiftly responded to the scene of the fire at the Jacuzzi Sundance Spas Storage warehouse near North Loop 1604 and Redland Road.

SAFD was able to contain the flames to just the warehouse, where it appears to be under control, and the smoke has started to settle. Hazmat trucks were also dispatched to ensure the safety of nearby residents, as hazardous materials like fiberglass and other chemicals were burning inside the warehouse.

Unfortunately, the fire caused extensive damage to the warehouse, leading to a total loss of the facility. Thankfully, no injuries were reported, and investigators are currently working to determine the cause of the fire.

This is still a developing story, and updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
