Young Woman Killed in Motorcycle Crash on Memorial Drive

Tragedy struck on Memorial Drive Wednesday night when a 22-year-old woman riding a motorcycle lost her life in a collision. The incident took place near S. Piney Point Road, where the young victim was eastbound on Memorial Drive and crashed into a Subaru turning left onto South Piney Point Road, according to reports from the Houston Police Department and Memorial Villages police.

It was just before 9 p.m. when the fatal crash occurred, sending shockwaves through the community. The driver of the Subaru, traveling westbound on Memorial Drive, stated that he had seen the motorcycle in the eastbound lanes but believed he had enough time to make a left turn onto Piney Point Road.
