Tragedy struck on the East Freeway this Wednesday morning as an 18-wheeler was involved in a fatal two-vehicle crash, resulting in the loss of a life, according to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.
The incident occurred before 7 a.m. on the frontage road near Cedar Lane, sending shockwaves through the Channelview community.
Sheriff Gonzalez reported that the second vehicle involved was a sedan, and unfortunately, one person did not survive the collision and was pronounced dead at the scene.
