The Tragic Discovery in the Dee Warner Case

In a heartbreaking update, a family spokesperson confirmed on Sunday that a body believed to be that of Dee Warner has been discovered. Dee, who has been missing since April 2021, was the subject of a widespread search effort led by her family and law enforcement.

Michigan State Police have indicated that an autopsy is required for official confirmation of the body’s identity. The remains were found on a property owned by Dale Warner, Dee’s husband, who has been charged in connection with her death. The autopsy is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, Aug. 20.

According to a statement from the First District of the Michigan State Police, human remains were uncovered during the execution of a search warrant on Dale Warner’s property in Lenawee County. The search took place on Friday, Aug. 16, with officials focusing on two properties owned by Dale Warner.

The family was notified late Saturday night of the discovery of a body in an anhydrous tank on their property. The tank, which contained no ammonia at the time, appeared to have been sealed and painted over, indicating a deliberate effort to conceal the remains.

Despite the difficult circumstances, Dee Warner’s family remains steadfast in their quest for justice. They have been actively supporting the investigation into Dee’s disappearance and have even petitioned for her to be declared dead in 2022.

Dale Warner, who has been charged with murder in connection with Dee Warner’s disappearance, is set to appear in a pre-trial hearing on Sept. 4. The Michigan State Police consider him the primary person of interest in the case and have brought charges of murder and tampering with evidence against him.

In a recent development, additional search warrants were executed at properties belonging to Dale Warner, including the family farm and a property on Paragon Road. The ongoing investigation has stirred up long-standing suspicions within Dee Warner’s family, who have been vocal about their belief that Dale was responsible for her disappearance.

As the family awaits the results of the autopsy scheduled for Tuesday, they are planning a celebration of life for Dee. Despite not having her physical remains, they are determined to honor her memory and ensure she is never forgotten.

Dee Warner’s legacy will live on in the hearts of her loved ones, who are grateful for the closure brought by her official death certificate and the opportunity to celebrate her vibrant life.
