Chaos ensued in a quiet Meyerland neighborhood as a suspect led police on a high-speed chase that ended with a dramatic capture.

The incident began on 610 West Loop South when the suspect, driving recklessly, refused to stop for officers. The pursuit led to Meyerland where the suspect collided with a truck and crashed through a fence before fleeing on foot, causing panic among residents.

Elizabeth Ray, a neighbor, recalls the tense moments: “I told my son, ‘keep inside, keep the dog inside,’ as I saw the suspect running through yards.”
