Welcome to our blog dedicated to raising awareness about missing persons. Today, we focus on Kalie Goodwin, a 29-year-old woman from Baytown, Texas, who has been missing for five months. Despite the passing of time, her mother, Kaci Richardson, and the community continue to hope for her safe return.
At a recent gathering at Jenkins Park, Kalie’s loved ones wore teal shirts with her photo, symbolizing their unwavering commitment to finding her. Richardson expressed gratitude for the support and love shown towards Kalie, emphasizing her daughter’s kind spirit.
During the vigil, Donna Shaw stood by Kalie’s mother, sharing a heartbreaking connection. Shaw’s daughter, Megan Rouse, was tragically murdered just 12 days after Kalie’s disappearance. The man charged with Rouse’s murder, Quan ‘Country’ Flowers, is currently in custody in the Harris County Jail.
Despite previous reports, there is no formal charge against Flowers in connection with Kalie Goodwin’s disappearance. However, Goodwin’s family received a disturbing call demanding ransom money, in which Kalie can be heard pleading for help.
Baytown Police believe that Kalie left her apartment complex with an unknown male on the night she went missing. Subsequent investigations using cellphone data led authorities to a house in Houston where evidence of assault was found. However, Kalie’s whereabouts remain unknown.
As we await answers and justice for both Kalie Goodwin and Megan Rouse, our thoughts are with their families. Let’s continue to spread awareness and hope for the safe return of those who are missing.
If you have any information about Kalie Goodwin’s whereabouts, please contact the authorities. Let’s work together to bring her home.
