LONDON – The renowned street artist, Banksy, continues to captivate and surprise with his latest series of animal-themed murals in London. The most recent addition, unveiled on Monday, features a rhinoceros climbing on top of a car in Charlton, southeast London. This marks the eighth in a collection that includes elephants, a goat, a wolf, pelicans, and more.

Banksy, whose true identity remains a mystery, has been posting these new artworks on his Instagram account daily since last Monday. The latest piece, with the rhino and car, has generated quite a buzz among locals and visitors alike.

Another recent creation by Banksy depicts piranhas on a police box near the Central Criminal Court in London. The artwork has attracted a crowd of spectators eager to capture the moment with photos and selfies, prompting discussions on how to preserve it for the future.

Last week, Banksy also showcased other striking pieces, including pelicans on a fish shop in Walthamstow and a howling wolf silhouette painted on a satellite dish in south London. The wolf mural was unfortunately taken down on the same day it was revealed, raising questions about its fate.

Banksy’s journey from a graffiti artist in Bristol to a globally acclaimed figure in the art world is truly remarkable. His thought-provoking works have garnered international acclaim and fetched millions at auctions. Despite facing challenges such as theft and removal of his outdoor murals, Banksy’s impact on the art scene remains unmatched.
