Yordan Alvarez made quite the impact in Tampa Bay even before the Houston Astros’ game against the Rays began on Tuesday.

The video board at the Trop, located down the right field line, took a hit from Alvarez’s powerful swing. The exact distance of the hit is uncertain, but it left the board completely black!

This isn’t the first time Alvarez has showcased his strength by damaging a jumbotron. He has proven time and time again that he is a force to be reckoned with on the field.

Alvarez, often batting behind Bregman in the lineup, recently had an outstanding performance with multiple home runs in a single game. His stats for the week included 9 hits, 5 home runs, and 8 RBIs.

Both Alvarez and Bregman have now received Player of the Week honors three times each, solidifying their status as top players in the league.
