Meanwhile, Alvarez continued to impress by hitting 9 for 21 with five home runs, one double, and eight RBIs. Alvarez even had his 19th career game with multiple home runs on Sunday, solidifying his place as a key player in the Astros’ lineup.
Both Alvarez and Bregman have each earned Player of the Week honors multiple times in their careers, with this latest accolade marking the third time for each of them.
