ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — Buffalo Bills’ star edge rusher Von Miller has been suspended for four games by the NFL for violating the league’s personal conduct policy.

The NFL has not disclosed the specific reason for the suspension, but it comes at a critical time as Buffalo (3-1) readies to face the Houston Texans on Sunday. Miller, known as the NFL’s active leader in sacks, is expected to be eligible to return for the Bills’ home game against Miami on Nov. 3.

Last November, Miller was accused of assaulting his pregnant girlfriend at their Dallas home during the Bills’ bye week. Despite allegations of third-degree felony assault, no charges have been officially filed, and Miller maintains his innocence, stating the case is closed based on legal advice.

Miller, 35, has accumulated 126 1/2 sacks throughout his career, tying him for 17th on the all-time list with Derrick Thomas. This season, he has recorded three sacks in four games, showcasing his ongoing prowess on the field.

In response to the arrest, Miller vehemently denied the allegations, emphasizing that they were exaggerated and untrue. The police affidavit outlined a series of events, but Miller insists that the situation was misconstrued and did not reflect the actual circumstances.

Following Miller’s suspension, the Bills have signed defensive tackle Zion Logue from the Atlanta Falcons’ practice squad to fill his roster spot. Logue, a former Georgia standout, was drafted in the sixth round by Atlanta.
