Ashton’s career spanned over 50 years, with notable appearances in TV series and films like “Midnight Run” and “Little Big League.” However, it was his portrayal of Taggart in the “Beverly Hills Cop” series that truly solidified his place in Hollywood history.
In the films, Ashton’s Taggart, alongside Judge Reinhold’s Billy Rosewood, became an integral part of the dynamic trio working with Eddie Murphy’s Axel Foley.
