NEW YORK – Senator Raphael Warnock from Georgia is venturing into the world of children’s literature with an exciting new book that is sure to capture the hearts of young readers. The book, titled “We’re in This Together: Leo’s Lunchbox”, tells the story of a generous boy and a magically multiplying baloney sandwich, inspired by a Biblical miracle.

Published by Philomel Books, an imprint of Penguin Random House, “We’re in This Together” is set to hit bookshelves on April 25. The book features captivating illustrations by TeMika Grooms and draws inspiration from the story of Jesus and his disciples feeding 5,000 people with just five loaves of bread and two fish.

Speaking about his latest venture, Senator Warnock shared, “Leo’s Lunchbox is a heartwarming tale that underscores the importance of communities coming together to support one another. I hope this story, based on one of my favorite Biblical lessons, encourages young readers to share with those around them and embrace help when needed.”
