15 Houston Locations Raided by FBI in Connection to Illegal Gaming Operations
The FBI Houston conducted investigations at multiple locations in the Houston area on Tuesday, targeting illegal gaming operations with potential ties to corrupt public officials.
According to federal law enforcement sources cited by KHOU 11, a total of 15 locations in the south Houston area were raided as part of the ongoing operation.
One of the locations, situated on Broadway Street, was captured by Air 11 flying over the scene, showing several law enforcement vehicles parked outside the Broadway Center, an outdoor strip mall.
FBI Houston assured the public that there was no immediate threat and stated that the investigations could take several hours to complete.
The operation was a collaborative effort involving various law enforcement agencies, including the Harris County Precinct 1 Constable’s Office, Harris County Fire Marshal’s Office, U.S. Marshals Service, Houston Fire Department, Houston Police Department, and Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
