Breaking new ground in workforce development

At Houston Community College (HCC), we strive to be at the forefront of innovative workforce development programs. That’s why we’re excited to announce our partnership with the Texas Workforce Commission to create one of the first pre-apprenticeship programs in the state. Led by HCC and our partner organizations, this program is designed to provide students with the skills and training they need to succeed in high-demand industries.

Through this program, students will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in their chosen field, as well as access to resources and support to help them succeed. Our goal is to not only prepare students for successful careers, but also to help bridge the gap between education and industry needs.

We’re proud to be breaking new ground in workforce development, and we’re committed to expanding this program to reach even more students in the future. Stay tuned for updates on our progress and upcoming opportunities for students to get involved.
