Homelessness affects thousands of people across the United States, and for 19-year-old Samuel Haymon, it became a harsh reality after losing his job and being evicted from his apartment. Left with no other choice, Samuel found himself sleeping on a bench at the Wonderland of the America’s Mall, enduring the hardships of being homeless alongside his beloved dog, Mordex.

Despite the challenges they faced, a glimmer of hope appeared when workers at a nearby health clinic noticed Samuel and Mordex and decided to lend a helping hand. Their story spread on social media, catching the attention of Candida Campos from Bee Pawsitive Husky Rescue, who was determined to make a difference.

Thanks to the generosity of the community, a GoFundMe was set up to support Samuel and Mordex, raising nearly $3,000 to date. Additionally, Samuel received assistance in finding a new job and temporary housing, allowing him to stay with Mordex while getting back on his feet.

As the journey towards stability continues, Samuel expresses his gratitude for the outpouring of support but acknowledges that he still needs assistance. If you’d like to help, donations can be made to the GoFundMe or by reaching out to Bee Pawsitive Husky Rescue for clothing donations or other contributions.

Furthermore, there is an Amazon wish list and a need for someone to donate their time to install an RV hookup for a more permanent housing solution. Bee Pawsitive Husky Rescue also welcomes donations for an RV, as they believe the camper is a temporary fix for Samuel and Mordex’s housing situation.

Together, we can make a difference in the lives of Samuel and Mordex, providing them with the support and resources they need to overcome the challenges of homelessness and build a brighter future.
