School Bus Overturned in Crash in Spring Branch Area
On Thursday, a school bus found itself on its side after colliding with a car at Silber and Westview in the Spring Branch area. The incident involved six students from the Spring Branch ISD who were on board at the time of the crash.
The accident occurred along Silber Road, just north of I-10 and west of The Loop. Despite the bus flipping onto its side, only one student sustained a wrist injury, as reported by Spring Branch ISD.
Details regarding the cause of the collision were not immediately released by authorities. Cleanup crews were observed clearing broken glass from the street, with visible damage to the bus’s right side, including dents, broken windows, and a detached door.
Spring Branch ISD issued a statement expressing gratitude for the safety of the students and driver involved in the accident. EMS personnel were on-site to evaluate the individuals, with initial assessments suggesting only one student suffered a wrist injury.
