The Gold Over America Tour Featuring Simone Biles Coming to Toyota Center

After a remarkable performance at the Olympic Games, hometown hero Simone Biles is making her way back to Houston. The gymnastics superstar, fresh off winning three gold medals and a silver in Paris, is now headlining the Gold Over America Tour, or GOAT, alongside her Olympic teammates. The tour will make a stop at the Toyota Center on October 19.

During a recent interview at the World Champions Center in Spring, KHOU 11’s Jason Bristol caught up with Biles to discuss her latest endeavors. Despite the boot on her leg that she wore in Paris, Biles expressed that she is feeling good and healthy, focusing on therapy and precautionary measures for her mind and body.

Describing the Gold Over America Tour, Biles shared, “It’s kind of a celebration party in the USA, very high-energy performance, very good music, and excitement. Think of Dancing with the Stars, but a gymnastics version with some of the best Olympians, men and women, along with guest appearances from around the world.”

When asked about the camaraderie among her teammates, Biles emphasized the support and unity they have for each other, both during the highs and lows of their athletic journey.
