Deadly crash on North Texas freeway kills 3 adults, 2 children overnight

A horrific tragedy unfolded in Fort Worth, Texas as a Camaro driven by a 19-year-old man caused a fatal crash leading to multiple deaths. The suspect, identified as Eduardo Gonzalez, has been arrested and charged with five counts of intoxication manslaughter and driving while intoxicated.

The devastating incident occurred in the early hours of Monday on Interstate 35W near Seminary Drive. Gonzalez was reportedly driving the Chevrolet Camaro at a high speed when it collided with a sedan carrying multiple occupants, causing the sedan to burst into flames.

Tragically, all five individuals inside the sedan lost their lives in the crash. Although no further details about the victims were released by the authorities, it was confirmed that three were adults and two were children, according to MedStar officials.

Following the crash, Gonzalez, the driver of the Camaro, was taken to a hospital for treatment and subsequently arrested. The Fort Worth Police Department issued a statement expressing the impact of the incident on the community and urging against drunk driving.

The highway had to be closed for several hours to investigate the scene and clear the wreckage, but it was reopened by the early hours of the morning.
