Dallas police have named Angel Zamora-Moreno, a 26-year-old man, as the individual behind a violent incident that shocked the community. Zamora-Moreno stabbed a man and then proceeded to run over people with their own vehicles, causing chaos and injury.

Meghan Smith, one of the victims affected by the events, is currently dealing with severe injuries. She recounted, “I have second-degree burns on my leg, knees, and ankle, burns on my shoulder, and a broken wrist.”

The incident occurred during a multi-vehicle crash on I-635, leaving several people injured and in shock. Smith, a nurse on her way to work that morning, witnessed the unfolding chaos.

Smith’s act of bravery in attempting to help a TxDOT worker struck by a vehicle ultimately led to Zamora-Moreno targeting her. Despite the traumatic experience, Smith remains grateful for surviving the ordeal.

Police intervened and arrested Zamora-Moreno, managing to contain the situation. Smith’s quick thinking and selflessness possibly saved lives that day.

Due to her injuries, Smith will be unable to work for the next few weeks. A GoFundMe page has been set up to assist with her medical expenses, as the incident took a toll on her and her family.

Smith’s main hope is to see justice served for all those affected by this horrifying event. She emphasized, “There are enough jerks in the world. We don’t all need to be one.”
